The NOVO Tripod Rubber Hooves set is a set of 3 wide rubber feet to upgrade the Novo Explora range of tripods. The wide rubber feet provide extra-stable footing on flat smooth surfaces, and the rubber protects surfaces, helping to avoid damage to surfaces such as wood, stone or glass, and provide better stability for monopods or when panning with video or field scopes on a tripod for example.
These hooves, replace the spikes attached to the range of Explora Tripods, including the Novo T5, T10 and T20, and MP10 and MP20 monopods. They are approx 40mm long with a base diameter of 50mm and made from high grade stainless steel and thick black rubber base, weigh 88g each and attach via a 3/8" screw thread. They should also be universally suitable for some other makes of tripods or monopods that feature 3/8″ inch thread feet base attachments.
NOTE: Most of the Novo range of tripods monopods already have spikes and rubber feet - just pull off rubber feet to reveal the spikes on these tripods. These wide feet / hooves are an extra accessory / upgrade for the existing spikes and rubbers.
They are fitted by simply unscrewing the existing spiked foot and screwing in the new wide rubber hoof. There is a hole for helping to tightly screw in / out. By putting a metal bar (such as a strong old small screwdriver shaft or hex key etc) through the hole enables good leverage to aid replacement or tightening..
Supplied as a set of 3, and also available individually for monopods.
