The are several ways to make a purchase from us; either by ordering through this website, through one of our network of resellers or visting our store based in Clitheroe, Lancashire. From the general public we can only accept orders through this website and not via email or post. Purchases made through this website are 100% secure with the latest encryption.
We accept purchase orders from Local Authrorities, schools, universities and other government institutions. Please contact us for more information.
All the prices, both product and shipping prices, listed on this website include UK Vat at the current rate of 20%. For B2B customers outside of the UK but based in the EU we can remove the VAT. To do so you must first create an account and enter a valid EU VAT number. Once validated, the VAT will be removed from your order value. EU B2B terms and conditions of sale will therefore apply. If you are based outside of the EU and still wish to place an order please contact us.

We try to make sure that all products are available for immediate despatch. However there are instances where this is not apparent such as newly launched products. Instances where products are not available will be clearly displayed on product and order confirmation page. For orders of items that are not available for immediate despatch payment is not taken. Payment is only taken when goods are ready to be shipped. Please note the dates provided on order confirmation cannot 100% accurate, and are meant as an approximation based on information provided by the manufacturer. Where product lead times are significantly longer than anticipated we will contact you by email to allow you to decide whether to continue with the purchase or cancel the order.
To view any current and previous orders an account must be first created. From this instance any order then placed will then be recorded. This is useful for many reasons not withstanding to have access to invoices. Any information stored in an account is protected by password protection so any password must be kept for future reference. In the instance of password loss, you can ask for a password reminder via accessing the account login page.

PLEASE NOTE: We can ship to an alternative address to that of which your credit / debit card are registered to, however this only applies to orders from mainland UK. Sorry but for EU based customers we can only ship to the registered credit / debit card address. Furthermore when using the Paypal payment option we can only ship to the confirmed address held on your Paypal account (this applies to both UK and EU customers).
You have the right to cancel an order and return good(s) for a refund under the Sale of Goods Act 1979 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 amended. We do not sell goods on a trial basis and as such you are advised to check suitability and specification before purchasing. You have the right to return goods up to 14 calendar days starting from the day after order receipt. If you wish to return any order (they must be complete and in as new condition) you must contact us to obtain a returns reference number (RMA). We can be contacted either by phone on +44 01200 444744, email or by letter. Returns shipping costs will at the responsibility and cost of the customer and not by UK Optics Ltd. Products that have been supplied on a Special Order basis can not be cancelled or returned under these conditions, as they have been ordered specially.
Please note that for business customers the Consumer Contract Regulations 2013 amended do not apply. Consequently any purchases made by UK and EU businesses and wish to return items they may not be accepted.
If you think you may have a fault with any product supplied by us through this website firstly contact us as we may be able to assist and provide a resolution. In the instance of a fault you will require a RMA before you will be able to send back to us. Please be aware any product returned back to us with out a RMA may result in a delay in dealing with your return. We reserve the the right to inspect any product before it is sent for repair (or a replacement) or refund is offered. If a product fault occurs after more than 28 days since purchase it will be repaired and only replaced if we deem the delay with any such repair is excessive (and in excess than 6 weeks).
